Business Intelligence Developer

Marcus Donald are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Developer to work in the financial sector within Central London. They’re very much at the forefront of their industry, with offices across the globe; California, Berlin, Zurich, Shanghai and of course London!

Their overseas offices are thriving at the moment, and the impetus now is to get the London office up to speed, and that starts with growing their Business Intelligence Teams and bringing on board more talented Business Intelligence Developers like yourself

Responsibilities required for Business Intelligence Developer

  • Design, development and delivery of cutting edge BI solutions based primarily on the Microsoft Data Platform
  • Taking responsibility of the delivery of solution components
  • Assess which tools are suited best for data integration
  • Work closely with the integration and development team
  • Solid understanding of software tools and concepts
  • Experience with Data Visualisation tools such as QlikView, Power BI, Tableau
  • A science related degree is desired

Key Skills required for Business Intelligence Developer

  • MS Access & Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros & V-Lookups)
  • At least 3 years` experience SQL/SSAS:
  • Strong analytical mind with proven experience 
  • Stakeholder / managerial requirement gathering background 
  • Good understanding of how MI can drive business decisions 

My client is offering a salary of £75,000-£90,000 + excellent benefits
