The Company

What you’ll do:

Come up with creative strategies to build new partnerships with contacts across different industries, while maintaining positive interactions with talented professionals and existing clients. Choose a specialist market of your interest and develop an in-depth understanding through exhibition visits, research, client discussions and much more.


Duties & Responsibilities

Maximize personal and organisational opportunities through setting objectives and maintaining a high level of conduct at all times. Grow as a professional and individual; embracing our team culture.


Sales/Business Generation Activities

  • Identify new business opportunities for business development
  • Develop strong business relationships with clients through telephone conversations and face to face meetings
  • Work to achieve maximum revenue through strategic objection handling and fee negotiation
  • Develop a strong pool of candidates
  • Work to build Marcus Donald People’s market presence and reputation
  • Maintain and develop the client database

Resource utilisation

  • Use in-house IT systems to generate candidates, clients and market to professional standards
  • Ensure all candidate and client records are kept in line with recruitment legislation
  • Take job requirements from clients over the phone using the Job Qualification Form
  • Develop a good understanding of MDP’s Contract/Permanent Terms and Conditions
  • Write and place job advertisements using job boards and company website
